We are committed to sourcing local, sustainable & organic. We give you lots of extras & bookables to help you have an easy & enjoyable stay.

We hope you will join us in supporting local & independent too. We are very lucky to have a brilliant range of farm shops & independent food and drink shops near to us- especially Ben's Farm Shop (part of the Riverford family) which has just about all you might need for your stay.

You might choose to book a private woodfired cookery class in The Bakehouse where we offer 10% discount for our staying guests.

Cots & dogs

The Oystercatcher is suitable for babies up to the age of 1. We can lend you a travel cot & a traditional wooden high chair which needs reigns.

There are loads of lovely places to go around here with your canine chum & we welcome up to 2 well behaved doggies.

We now offer 2 nights stays in The Oystercatcher all year round though recommend 3 days minimum to totally unwind!
