Would you like to learn to make the best slow fermented pizzas with the finest ingredients? Or gain confidence in creating an Italian or Persian feast for a special occasion? 

 

At The Bakehouse, we use organic and locally sourced foods because it matters to us & we know it matters to you. As we specialise in private group booking, why not come with your partner, family, friends or  colleagues for a birthday treat, unique party or celebration? Our friendly, private cookery classes for up to 8 people are suitable for everyone from absolute beginners & give you the opportunity to learn something new & do something different, enjoyable & creative in a beautiful environment.

We use our brilliant Gozney wood oven to make delicious food with you which you can enjoy over a glass of organic wine or a Luscombe elderflower fizz. All our recipes can be made at home in conventional ovens too!

With a minimum group size of 2 & a maximum of 8, we offer a free place to the organiser for groups of at least 6 people. Contact Emma to enquire or book a date for your own group- allow 3.5-4 hours- we can book you in for weekdays, evenings or weekends to suit.

“The Italian feast day was inspirational and very well structured. The class was relaxed and friendly and Emma was knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of tasty refreshments, woodfired pizzas for lunch and the highlight- enjoying our meal together at the end of the day with a glass of wine.Although I don't have a woodfired oven at home, I have been able to make the dishes for friends- especially the porchetta and braised fennel. I can't wait to come back.”
